Welcome to Beyond the Looking Glass!

Our community is new and growing. We are a welcoming space for anyone ready to explore, figure out, experiment with, or just talk about their desires. Pleasure is your birthright.

Inspiration

Our founding group are students of @kimi.inch (&MorePresents) and @missjaiya (Erotic Blueprints) along with Tantric and Somatic coaches. Sexuality is a core part being human - and so often forcefully shamed and repressed - we are striving to use the path of pleasure to become our true and full selves, eliminate shame, and surround ourselves with others on the same journey. All are welcome and all relationship types are welcome - mutual respect and agreeing to our guidelines are all that we require. There are many paths to the top of the mountain - and this one is delicious.

Goals

Simply to create local community of those looking to explore their own needs and desires and want to be supported by those on the same journey. A group that likes to start a little slower, maybe go a little deeper, and have a little more of a connection. As Kimi likes to say - playing with Boundaries, Desires, Safety, and Meaning.

Core Guidelines

Privacy & Confidentiality - This is a core function of this group. Pseudonyms are welcome - all members agree to keep peoples names, attendance, stories, and details as confidential unless express permission is given to share.
Consent - Let's start with the F.R.I.E.S model of consent. If you're not aware of it, look it up. Consent is key to safety and a core tenant of all interactions in this group.
Adult Space - We are all adults, this is an 18+ space, and as adults it's your responsibility to be a caring and respectful adult and to take care of yourself and communicate your needs and boundaries. If you need help around that, please ask for help.
Energy is Important - We are creating a gentle and safe group to explore topics most have been taught are not safe to talk about, much less examine. Aggressive, predatory, or judgmental energy or behavior will not be tolerated. Come with respect, curiosity, empathy.
All Emotions are Welcome - When you open this door - it's not just about the physical. Letting go of decades of repression, letting go of pent up and stored emotions, connecting with others on deeper level, finally letting yourself safely embrace your desires, and integrating parts of yourself you thought were lost are often parts of someones journey. These often bring up deep emotions and all are welcome.
